This album is a tribute to Echo, one of the best visual novels Ive read. I guess that makes the album a fanart for Echo. Making fanart is one of the things I want to do, thuogh. My original intention was to make songs about Echo, which is what i did. I never really considered calling it fanart originally, until later on.
Your still welcome to interprate my art how you want, this is just my motives, and my personal meanings.
another part of the future is about how someone (i forget who, i think the old guy under the road) said that 'your only going in circles.' the songs original name was 'welcome to circle,' though I changed it because i didn't like that name at the time. Also the fact that the hum happend in the future, going in circles, added to the meaning I gave to the song. Even months after reading the novel and making the song, I still repeated 'were only going in circles' in my head, becasue of the amount of times loops connect to real life.
chilling at the start is about when before Flyn pissed everyone off, when everyone was chilling at the start and having fun. Until he ruined it and gave us options to change the story and start everything else. This song is about the decision of who I chose to talk to. Also its about how the story actually kind of started there.
i saw him drown is the third song because I chose TJ's route first, which ended with killing Flyn. The song is about how TJ witnessed a murder. The intensity of the song comes from the fact that he was murdered when the hum came, because he saw him drown during it.
orchestrated insanity's name is about how the hum, or the insanity, is orchestrated like a violin, accoring to chase. The song means all the bad things that happend when the hum was active. With all of the dark things that happend as why i made the song so agressive.
This song was made the first time Echo actually truely terrified me. Leo's route was the last route i played on my first playthrough. The scene where chase's shadow is above him on Brian's torture table made me cover my eyes, turn off my montor, and cry. It was truelyone of the scarriest things ive ever seen in fiction. The audio and little visual jumpscare was amazing. The song is about how it scared me, and made me scared of the dark for the rest of the night.
childish fear is about how at the end of jenna's route, it is revealed how she saw the red creature. Its about how she was a kid, and how significant i see that scene. The time she sees the monstor when she was a kid she doesen't show fear, thuogh i belive seeing it again, or at least experiencing something similar, was scary to her. Or at least to me. Becuase I like how it implys that the thing that saw her could also be part of flyn. or at least thats the way i interperated that scene.
I HATE MY DAD's name is about how Sydney's dad killed himself infront of his child. Its also about how sydney hated his parents, and fantasized so much. This song is inspired by them.
walking to the depths name is about how Flyn killed himself by walking down the burning cave. The song is about how a lot of confusing and bad things happend when he killed himself, where i percived it as him joining the entity that the hum is. its also about the pain of him burning alive. Its also partly about the hum.
This songs about how I found the game very intriguing with a lot of quesetions that start with 'why.' I find the confusion that it gave me another reason why I love the novel so much. Similar with project horizons, there is a lot to think about, and a lot of awnsers that i can awnswer for myself from my own ideas. to give me my own view of the story. its probably not completely accurate, though its cool.
This songs about how Leo loved chase to death because chase got his feet cut off. i made it have a good amount of intensity because chase was help captive, kind of. I think its an interesting ending though. I also added meaning from when they saw the radio that was effected by the hum. I dont rememeber much about it because the main meaning is Leo's ending, anyway.
i didnt give this song any meaning. you can interperate it how you want.
